Privacy Policy (qubotron)

This Privacy Policy concerns the mobile game "qubotron" (in the following also: "the app", "the game") developed by Johannes Fieres under the label tlogic (in the following: "tlogic", "we", "us", "our", "developer").

0. Preliminaries

qubotron can be played using two different usage models: Ad-supported or paid. After a few minutes of gameplay you will have to choose among one of them.

If played on Apple devices, qubotron integrates with Game Center, Apple's service to connect players with one another.

It depends on your choice of the usage model, and on whether you are signed into Game Center, how we process, collect, and store data connected to the usage of qubotron.

You can change from ad-supported to paid usage at anytime via an in-app purchase. You can sign out of Game Center anytime in the Settings app.

1. Data collected, stored, and processed by tlogic

qubotron stores only data which is necessary for the functioning of the app locally on your device (e.g., game progress and high scores). Other than this, tlogic does not collect, store, or process any data. In particular, we do not transfer any data off your device via a network connection.

2. Data collected, stored, and processed by third parties

2.1. Google

The app includes and uses the Google Mobile Ads (GMA) library, a third-party piece of software, to display advertisings to you in the game. The GMA library allows Google to store data on and collect data off your device over the internet.

By opting for the free usage you consent that Google stores small textual data packets ("cookies") on your device and collect the following data off your device, and store and process them on their servers:
- IP address
- user product interaction (including app launch, taps, and video views),
- diagnostic information (like crash logs),
- performance data (such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage)
- device and account identifiers (like the Adroid advertising ID, app set ID, or Apple's Identifier for Advertisers, or other identifiers related to signed-in accounts on the device).
These data might be used to track (recognize) you accross app sessions, different apps, and, possibly, different devices.

This is done in order to:
- display ads that are more relevant (i.e., targeted, personalized),
- generate insight in app usage and performance (analytics),
- fraud detection.

Please refer to Googles's website for all further details: "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services".

Note: To make it harder to track you accross apps, you may disallow usage of the Adroid advertising ID using ad ID controls in the Android settings menu (for Android devices), or disallow usage of Apple's Identifier for Advertisers in the Settings app under Settings > Privacy > Tracking (iOS devices).

Note: The statements in section 2.1 apply only after you explicitly opt for the ad-supported usage model. Before, the GMA library is not being used.

2.2. Apple

On Apple devices, the game integrates with Apple's Game Center. This service allows players connect to each other and, for example, compare their scores with friends and with players worldwide.

In order to provide this service, Apple needs to handle data of yours. Please refer to Apple's website for all details: Game Center & Privacy

You can opt out of Game Center anytime by signing out in the Settings app (Settings > Game Center > Sign out).

3. Issue handling

We take user issues serious. If you have any questions or concerns regarding privacy, please contact us at support @ tlogic.de.
